Henry's Bar

To be sure, to be sure, this pub is very lovely indeed. It has a brilliant 20s or 30s Irish bar feel to it, which I loved. Quite busy when we went there, and fairly smoky, but in a fairly good way, nice and atmospheric with the low lighting and all. Drinks were reasonably varied, good selection of ales as well, of course, as Guinness, and though of course they weren't at student prices, they were fairly reasonable.

All in all, not a bad local, really.

EDIT: I've bumped this back up to the top because we go there quite a lot!!

The review was in fact done by David and not by me. I added the pictures in first as I'm the only one that knows how to do it but I didn't have time to sort out the rest of the post!

Mmmmm good pub! It's one of the few pubs in Exeter with a pool table...not saying it's perfect, but it does the job. Nice atmosphere. Only on one occasion have I seen them have to ask someone to leave, because they were causing a problem. It's rougher on the outside than it is on the inside. Nice friendly staff.
