The Famous Ship Inn, Exmouth

(hopefully someone can!!) - well done James!

nice pub, modern with pool tables etc...

Not sure about the beer on offer as i wasn't allowed to drink any! The coke was very cheap tho.... £1,15 for a pint.

When i find out the name ill find a picture!

Although I have searched extensively I have so far been unable to locate a picture. So here is another famous ship. Can you guess what it is (without looking at the file name!)? - Tim

What is the name of this boat?

The Well House

This is on Cathedral Close in the middle of Exeter and was quite a nice pub. There were a few other people that looked like locals (but young locals if that makes sense) and I have no idea what the beer was like as I had to go and pick Hendrik up from the airport. Perhaps someone else would like to add to this later.

The Well House, Exeter

Erm, Teignmouth/Dawlish somewhere!

Since nobody else has done this I'm assuming that they can't remember the names of the pubs either! We went to one pub in Teignmouth (might have been called Moffeys or something) and then another one in Dawlish (which may or may not have been the Buckfast Arms (or similar).

Teignmouth pub was nice and the food there was good. And on the good side Derby didn't win the football either!!

I can't remember what beer they had on but it was quite nice IIRC.

Dawlish was a bit more local but at the same time not local at all. There were some locals there and a taxi that created a traffic jam but other than that I didn't think it was too special. I seem to remember very few people (ie just me) had a proper drink there. Everyone else pansied out (James excluded).

Lucy has a picture on her camera somewhere so when she's back from Welwyn I'm sure she'll sort it out!

here is the pic! (i hope this works)

The Amber Rooms

Quote David Shervington, 2nd May 2005, around 8.30ish>>>'unsurprisingly these rooms are somewhat amber'

i think that sums it up...

Its a bit of a trendy place, with sofas, an extensive cocktail and wime menu and a couple of good beers for example Broadside at fairly reasonable prices.

Unfortunatly, we broke some glasses by accident....ooops!

I imagine clever old Tim will find a nice picture to put here now as im not good enough at computers...

The Rising Sun Inn, Lynmouth

I think that's the name of the pub! We didn't really look at the name when we wandered in. 'Twas a nice pub, but soft drinks were quite expensive; £2.20 for a pint of coke! Inside it was nicely furnished and the tables had candles on them. David had difficulty distinguishing between the Ladies and the Gents, although there was adequate signage (how silly does that sound!!!).

A good place for refreshments before walking back up the hill to the car park!!

I have now found a picture, so the cheese is gone.

(sorry Tim, wrong name methinks! I edited it....) - Luce

(dutifully noted and correct picture added) - Tim
